Job description / Role
A fresh graduate who is willing to commit to a twelve-month training period to develop both technical skills/understanding and simulator engineering knowledge. Ultimately this individual must express and demonstrate a strong desire in securing a full-time position with Emirates CAE Flight Training both before and during the training period.
- Assist to update monthly NDB, Charts, Checklist etc. as guided by senior engineers. Perform majority of Preventive Maintenance (PMT) tasks independently on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
- Refer schematics and assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems. Utilize Maintenance Management System -Gemini to record and track maintenance activities. Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required. Ensure interiors and exteriors of simulators are maintained tidy.
- Pursue continued professional growth and training from senior colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Deep interest and some knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems.
- PC skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Has to be able to work in confined spaces and wear protective clothing
- Heavy lifting of simulator parts and working in strenuous postures.
