Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an established independent premium all day dining and coffee kiosk brand who is looking to hire a Group Executive Chef to oversee the culinary side across the brand including multiple kiosks, outlets and a central kitchen. Reporting directly to the Group General Manager you will lead the culinary vision of the brand across a portfolio of restaurant and kiosk locations.
The Group Executive Chef will be responsible for improving and constantly evolving the menus – full restaurant menu and kiosk offering, as well as the product development for the catering and central kitchen. You will be required to develop dishes across all day dining and pastry. In addition, you will lead a team of approx. 80 with two senior team members reporting directly and supporting.
The vision of the brand will have you support with internationally influenced dishes across breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and brunch. You will oversee the hiring and training of the Chefs, guiding them in the running of their kitchens, handle the overall p&l, inventory and quality control across all locations.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the candidate should be an experienced Executive Chef or Multi Site Chef, who has managed a portfolio of locations, with a proven record in evolving and refreshing menus. UAE experience is essential for this role, preferably within a local or homegrown brand.
Candidates currently in the UAE are preferred but exceptional candidates outside will be considered. Strong leadership and English communication skills are essential for this role, managing a diverse team. This role will require a tasting.
