Leading Multinational Company
AED 35,000 + Bonus + Benefits
NTS Group are working exclusively with a leading multinational company to recruit a Group Finance Manager for the HQ based in Dubai.
Reporting into the CFO, the Group Finance Manager will be leading the Group’s financial accounting and control environment ensuring compliance with the companies Accounting policies and Finance procedures, IFRS and local GAAP.
Leading a team of direct reports, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Regularly review the control environment and report inconsistencies or policy exceptions to the Finance Director,
- Ensure management accounts and financial statements are prepared in compliance with IFRS,
- Ensure regional legal entities are in compliance with local GAAP and other regulatory requirements,
- Ensure all financial reporting requirements to internal and external parties are prepared and submitted accurately and within the agreed deadlines,
- Review and provide accurate and timely commentary on monthly results versus budget & last month,
- Review all Balance Sheet reconciliations timely and in line with the timetable,
- Develop processes to ensure efficient and effective management of the company's resources,
- Monitor and control the accounting system to ensure that the integrity of the system is maintained at all times,
- Recommend changes that will improve the company's financial performance and financial controls.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent).
- Possesses excellent decision making skills.
- Previous experience in a similar position, including experience of providing Financial Control across a Group of companies.
- Sound and up to date knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- A minimum of 5 years experience of managing staff within the Finance department.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
