Charterhouse are partnering with a food production and FMCG client whom are looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller whom will effectively become the Head of Finance. To ensure continued business support, governance and financial management, our client is looking to identify a Head of Finance to steer the financial operation forward.
This role will play a pivotal part in setting up all the control procedures and reporting standards, across all the business entities, whilst developing strong FP&A tools and cost control measures to evaluate all supply chains and distribution channels across their retail platforms. This Controller shall also take ownership of the accounting and consolidation oversight and the provision of financial accounts for audit and management purposes.
Requirements
Our client will look to recruit an experienced Controller with exposure to either the food production and/or FMCG sector. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate accountancy credentials and professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) coupled with an insight to the commercial workings of a manufacturing and/or distribution business. This industry knowledge is vital to ensure both operational support, along with an ability to consolidate and grow the finance operation, aligned to best practice and industry standards. The ability to navigate systems review and change management will be another important aspect within the overall search criterion. The nature of this role, the company and the customer-base means that the client is ideally looking to hire an Arabic speaking candidate.
