Employment: Full Time

A leading and well-established Business Support Services company based in the UAE are rapidly expanding. As such they are seeking a dynamic, accomplished, and mature Group Head of Human Resources. This role will be reporting directly to the Board members, providing both operational and strategic HR input across the group.

The purpose of the role is to incorporate all key HR functions concerning people optimization, establishing and implementation of set policies and streamlining and further development of existing HR capabilities. This will include the full HR cycle from recruitment, payroll & benefits to employee relations, conduct management procedures and budgetary responsibilities. The successful individual will be tasked with organisational design, which is often complex in its nature, due to the diversity of the subsidiaries within the group. Your purpose will be to ensure that robust policies and procedures are developed in order to assist our client through a time of rapid expansion. It is therefore imperative that you are able to implement a compensation, benefits and manpower planning strategy, alongside a motivating and engaging learning and development plan for all employees.

Additionally, you will be an excellent communicator, able to manage a large volume of stakeholder relationships to develop insights into HR best practices and manage the team through change from the most senior individuals at Board level and downwards. As the expansion of the business is expected within your first year in the post, you will manage the full recruitment life cycle and ensure the plan incorporates a strong talent pool on an ongoing basis. You will also re-evaluate the current recruitment process and provide innovative ideas with regards to appropriate assessment tools and techniques across all levels of seniority. As you will be exceptionally hands on in this role, management of grievance and conduct issues will also be part of this dynamic and all-encompassing position.

Requirements

An exciting time to join one of the market leaders in the region, it is expected that all candidates will have superior UAE HR knowledge and labour law experience. Those with additional exposure to Saudi Arabia HR regulations are exceptionally advantageous. You will hold a relevant degree and Level 5 CIPD as a minimum (or higher SHRM and Masters qualifications) for this position. Candidates with passion and energy to drive the business forward, whom are able to manage many competing deadlines and HR agendas are a must.
