Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

AED 40,000 to AED 60,000 plus standard benefits

Our client, a large holding company, is urgently looking for a Group HR Manager who will be based in its Abu Dhabi office. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will have 5 direct reports and be responsible for creating, implementing and managing various HR strategic HR initiatives for the different business units including facilities management, property management, retail, F & B, travel, car service and contract business.

Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Managing employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinary matters, grievances and sickness
* Managing the roll out of HRIS
* Compensation and benefits
* Performance and talent management
* Recruitment and retention
* Ensuring all company policies and procedures are up-to-date and in line with current employment law
* Managing HR budgets

Requirements

To be considered for the role you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, of which 4 years are in a senior management role.

Other criteria will include:
* Substantial experience in a Human Resources Manager role
* A CIPD qualification (or equivalent)
* The ability to deal with senior and sometimes challenging individuals
* Demonstrable experience in managing TUPE, redundancy or other relevant HR projects
* A professional and commercial approach to HR with the ability to deliver high levels of employee satisfaction
* A strong understanding of employment law
* Fluency in Arabic and English language

As a Group HR Manager you will need to have the ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture.
