Job description / Role
The Group IT/IS Technician provides software and network support, and is tasked with basic troubleshooting. She/He offers support on a wide range of applications including Microsoft products. She/He supplies first level support for users, ensure currency of information and provide installation and training services as needed.
The Group IT/IS Technician installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems and provides technical advice and support to system users.
Requirements
Required Education and/or Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• ITIL v3 foundation certification and CompTIA A+ qualification will be an advantage
• Good written and spoken English
Required Experience:
• Experience in handling/supporting an 80-staff Company
• Basic understanding of MAC and Windows hardware & software troubleshooting
• Office 365 Administration
• Local Outlook Directory Administration
• Knowledge of basic networking
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Principles
