Employment: Full Time

Our Client, a leading company in the UAE, is looking for a Group Treasury Manager, to join their team in Dubai. The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the Treasury department and to ensure the Company’s Treasury function is organized, efficient and produces timely and accurate financial & management reporting. This will include responsibility for leading on all aspects of cash flow reporting, compliance and treasury systems, including implementing sufficient controls and treasury best practice. The role will be a key member of the team, based out of the Dubai office, with travel to regional offices required, as necessary.

The key responsibilities of the role, are as follows:
• Oversee and monitor daily operations related to the Company’s Treasury function
• Lead on projects and initiatives to improve the Company’s cash position and manage financial risks
• Implementation of Treasury Management System
• Implementation of FX dealing platform and forex planning
• Develop, manage and recommend short- and long-term Treasury strategies and plans;
• Maintain and improve Treasury control processes and integration with other business systems
• Develop a strong suite of Treasury KPI’s
• Maintain robust and where possible, automated reporting practices
• Be instrumental in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Treasury processes throughout the Company
• Implement Group Treasury Policy and Procedures manuals ;
• Suggest adjustments or amendments to procedures that would enhance work efficiency
• Negotiate and implement different Treasury & Banking products
• Keep abreast of changes in treasury market activities

Requirements

In order to apply for this role, you must have the following:
• 10 years’ treasury related experience, with minimum 5 years’ experience as a Treasury Manager or equivalent.
• Experience of setting up and managing Treasury Management and Reporting Systems.
• A good understanding of IAS 39 and reporting requirements.
• Ability to foresee and respond to current and future business needs.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and in a regulated environment.
• Experience of working directly with and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent IT and excel skills.
