Randstad Middle East are recruiting for a Harbour Master on behalf of our client who has one of the most prominent names in the maritime industry. They have established themselves over the past 30 years as a fast growing international player in Offshore and Engineering, Ship Repair and Maintenance, Shipbuilding and Conversion, Rig building and refurbishment, FPSO/FSO conversion, offshore fabrication, Maritime Clusters and Yacht and Fleet operations with facilities in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

The Harbour Master will act as a custodian of the marine waters and activities within the company's marine waters. He will be responsible for all marine manoeuvres in yard and the resources used for achieving these manoeuvres. Responsible for all floating crafts in the yard. The responsibility also includes maintaining Marine waters in a clean and pollution free condition.

This is a permanent position which is based in Dubai, UAE.

Requirements

- Master Mariner with adequate experience in Drydocks as dock master. operation
- Piloting experience is desirable.
- Good knowledge and background in rigging, dredger and tugs operation.
- Good inter-personal communication skills.
