Employment: Full Time

The Hard Facilities Management Operations Manager (HFMOM) shall report to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and liaise with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company.

The HFMOM, under direction and guidance of the COO, shall assist the COO in the building of a Hard FM service offering within the company and any other divisions that may be created in the future, and is responsible for doing so in an efficient and proper manner in accordance with the terms of his contract of employment and within the principles of the company owners.

The primary part of the job is to act as HFMOM with responsibility for all aspects of the new division from sales and marketing, recruitment, operations, execution and financial management. All support with be supplied by the existing infrastructure and management team.

Requirements

* We expect this to be a long-term appointment in this family-owned, ambitious private company. Therefore we think that the successful candidate is likely to have had previous experience in the Middle East probably as the number 2 of a small company or in a division of a large company.
* Minimum 10 years in the role and proven pedigree gained with a major FM company (service provider or contractor);
* Good knowledge of PPM and Soft Services;
* Strong knowledge of CAFM system inputs and outputs.
* Qualifications - The preferred candidate will possess a degree (Engineering preferred).

Skillset:
* A strong leader with good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Skilled and committed in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and financial accounting.
* Ready with drive and initiative to take up the chance to build this very important division in the company's future.
* Able to understand, control and adhere to reporting lines.
* Able to maintain a good and tactful relationship with the other senior management and divisional managers but in particular the COO and DCOO.
* Mature and responsive to advice.
* Able to pitch explanations of concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, so as to be understood by the recipient of the explanation.
* A good timekeeper.
