Position Title: Head Chef / Sr. Sous Chef
Employment Type: Full time
Salary: up to 7K AED depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation, transportation, and meals
Job Location: Dubai, UAE
About the client:
The hiring company is one of the leading Italian restaurants in Dubai.
Job Role:
• Leads kitchen team in chef's absence and assisting head chef with menu creation
• Provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
• Oversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients keeping detailed records and minimizes waste and managing budget
• Verifies food storage units are as per standards and are consistently well-managed
• Hires and trains new kitchen employees and coordinates with restaurant management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing
Requirements
Requirements:
• Open to Asian nationals
• 45 years old and below
• At least 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Candidates who can start immediately will be prioritized
