Employment: Full Time

Head - Energy Management - Al Futtaim Technologies - Dubai, U.A.E.

As Head of Energy Management you will be responsible to manage the energy management business and related activities in the region. Based in Dubai and with ability to travel to KSA, Egypt and Qatar if required.

You will be reporting to the general manager. You will have to demonstrate a high level of heading Energy Management business especially in energy performance contracting with a record for continuously achieving on-target performance and aggressively complete the business unit successfully.

On this role you will be responsible to develop the energy management services business. Responsible for overall profitability of the business unit. Create sales projections and determine business growth.

Set goals and objectives to sustain the business operations and the improvement. Develop and execute business strategic plans. Drive sales efforts and increasing market share.

Construct and run the annual budget for the energy management. Appraise and monitor the team performance and increase the learning curve of the team. Allocate resources to achieve specific business results. Responsibility toward the team: training, hiring, rewarding, appraising and resolving problems.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting role, you need to have a Masters Degree specialized in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. Certifiation such as PMP - Project Management Professional, LEED - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, CEM - Certified Energy Manager, CMVP - Certified Measurement & Verification Professional

Project Management, LEED, Estidama, CEM, CMVP is an asset. You should have a minimum 12+ years of professional experience in Energy services of which at least 8 years management experience in heading energy business unit. Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an advantage.

Along with previous experience you must have deep knowledge and experience in to the energy management systems and business unit management - Developing Budgets, Coaching, Supervision, Staffing, Project Management, Management Proficiency, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Self-Development, Planning, Performance Management, Inventory Control, Verbal Communication.

To be a successful Head of Department you must be updated on the various developments in energy management. You will also have to showcase excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, time management & project management skills. You should have good leadership & teamwork skills with ability to learn new technologies, an excellent customer service attitude along with the ability to discuss and negotiate at all levels.
