Charterhouse is working with a well-established and highly prestigious Law Firm looking to secure a proven Head of Business Development and Marketing. For this permanent full-time role, you will be based in their Dubai office and shall be offered a generous benefits package to include medical and annual flight with the additional benefit of a discretionary bonus based on office and personal performance.

You will be supporting the delivery of Middle East strategy as well as supporting the director of Business Development to actively engage with regional leadership and key Partners to maximise business opportunities.

You will be managing and coaching a team of seven direct reports, allocating and supervising work to achieve the best commercial results. You will lead regional groups on the best strategies surrounding proposals, campaigns, account development and campaigns.

In addition you will lead major proposals on behalf of the firm and will be working with the proposal teams on major bids, leading on sector-specific campaigns and assisting the team by providing outstanding thought leadership.

Requirements

You will possess strong management and leadership skills, having a proven track record of managing teams within the legal sector. You will have experience of working with Partners and BD teams to deliver best practice and will be highly results orientated.

The successful candidate will have a background that has included management of major proposals, implementing business proposals and marketing plans.

In character, you will be credible, highly knowledgeable of the legal sector and will possess excellent stakeholder management. You will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Due to the nature and scope of the role, our client is only considering international candidates based outside of the UAE.
