Head of Business Development & Marketing

Job description / Role

A professional services firm based in Dubai is currently seeking a Head of Business Development & Marketing role for the Middle East region. With offices on a global scale the organisation is requires an experienced individual who will expand the development activities and implement a robust and effective strategy to engage with new and existing clients.

This role is an integral part of the Middle East BD & Marketing team, supporting regional groups and offices and working on both regional and global projects. The role will also involve working closely with the global BDM team to introduce best practices across the organisation. The key responsibilities will include actively engaging the regional leadership seniors and managing a small team across the region and further afield. Together you will implement large global and regional proposals and bids, client development, direct submissions and marketing campaigns including website development, social media and PR activities, alongside brand materials and further market and business intelligence gathering.

The Head of BD & Marketing will actively engage with clients, attending meetings and managing the account when required to further develop any potential opportunities. Part of the role also requires the successful applicant to manage the full budget effectively and identify and propose new topics and sectors for further development within the budget given.

Requirements

We are therefore seeking those with highly relevant experience. Only candidates from a professional services background in a similar role will be considered, as it is expected that you will already be in a management BD & Marketing position, ideally as a Head of Department. Your current or previous role should include management of large proposals, product development and proven, measurable campaign success. You will hold a relevant marketing degree as a minimum, with a CIM qualification being highly desirable. Candidates outside of the UAE will also be a distinct advantage for this role within a prestigious, global professional services organisation.
