Job description / Role
Leading Design and Engineering consultancy seek a Technical Manager who will head of the Construction Supervision team, and provide the Contracts Management intelligence on major projects.
Overseeing the Structural Design office based team, and the various site based teams, this individual will represent the company to clients and provide the technical lead, and contracts management decision making for this consultancy.
Overseeing the Project and Company Accounts Implementation and Management; Preparation of Financial and Technical Proposals for Procurement of Projects, Procurement and Management of Sub Consultants; Overseeing Projects from Design through to Handover, Administering the Contract on Major Projects, Claims and Commercial Matters.
Requirements
This individual will have around 15 years experience post graduation of a Degree in Construction Management or Commercial/Contracts related.
Having worked for a Design consultancy on large major new build projects in a similar capacity to the above job description is highly advantageous, especially in the UAE/Middle East.
An expertise in technical and construction related matters is required to be represent the consultancy to Developers, Clients and Contractors/Sub Consultants.
Excellent nature of negotiation and ability to manage a large team is required.
