The Company
Robert Half International is working on an exclusive basis with a leading UK listed Manufacturing company based in Dubai who are market leaders in their field. Due to a reorganisation, they are looking to recruit a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis.

The Role
Working closely with the CFO regarding the FP&A vision and strategy you will also engage with the CEO to ensure the FP&A Role and actions reflects and supports the business vision and growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

* Set clear guidelines and direction for the FP&A team to establish standard policies, definitions, processes and systems, incorporating "best practices" and statutory accounting requirements
* Build, develop and maintain an FP&A team capable to drive value and to challenge business decision making through the provision of appropriate analytical support e.g. business performance tracking, cash and liquidity management, modelling, scenario planning and review of capital expenditure (new outlets / remodelling)
* Oversee the Company's bottom-up and top-down budgeting and regular forecasting processes, including development of the annual budgeting calendar, and ongoing liaison with the business' functional leaders
* Influence strategy and embed value by driving and challenging business decision making through provision of quality financial analysis
* Drive the decision making process to support the operational, commercial and strategic changes e.g. improving store sales productivity, margin maximisation, efficient supply chain structure, managing input and labour costs
* Monitor and routinely communicate company financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecast, including revenue, cash performance, debtors and capital expenditure. Analyse causes and implications of performance and provide insightful commentary and recommendations to senior stakeholders
* Provide commercial and operational analysis to support company-wide decision making
* Oversee and challenge the business regarding all FP& A analysis and submissions and ensure accuracy of financial forecast and valuable variance analysis, including the 13 week cash flow forecast and monthly management reporting pack
* Work closely with operational leaders for the provision of financial information and analysis to the Company Executive and the Board, including managing the preparation of all materials for quarterly meetings of this Board
* Assist CFO with the recruitment, support on performance appraisals and remuneration setting for FP&A Managers
* Act as a business partner for C-levels and VP to implement business performance initiatives
* Build bridge between commercial and delivery teams to maximise business performance
* Lead initiatives: Pricing (dynamic sales targets, dynamic pricing, etc), asset utilisation, performance benchmarking, etc.
* Leverage business acumen to formulate feedback/solutions on strategic matters: assess new business opportunities and impact on overall business performance, restructuring of exiting business, etc.
* Drive automation to leverage Hyperion solution and save time
* Build strong FPA team in markets focused on operation and commercial control
* Manage process of reforecasting on quarterly basis

* Identify local team skills improvement and work on building capabilities
* Lead monthly performance review to identify short fall, flag performance risks for management to take quick actions

Requirements

The Candidate

* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance and/or engineering from an internationally recognized university.
* MBA in finance is mandatory.
* Finance certification is a plus

Salary and Benefits

* 65,000aed per month plus full family benefits
