Head of Graphic Design

Job description / Role

An exciting new opportunity has been created within this well established FMCG company based in Dubai. As part of a new branding campaign the business is seeking to recruit a head of Graphic Design to lead and motivate the brand through this exciting transformation.

- You will report to directly to the General Manager and be responsible for the delivery of the new creative & graphic strategy for the business
- Managing a team of 6 staff, primarily Graphic Design / Creative Art Design
- Provide leadership and direction for this busy department and team including day to day task management / KPI’s
- Be instrumental in building design boards for the creative new look of the concepts
- Oversee the quality assurance of the creative team and ultimately sign off the work
- Work with the Marketing team on a promotional calendar / Events / Catalogue / Advertising / Digital Media to ensure material is in line with Brand direction

Requirements

- Must have a Tertiary Qualification in Art / Design related field from a recognised University
- 10 years commercial experience in Graphic Design.
- Minimum of 3 years team management, with proven ability to lead a strategic direction for a creative brand
- Technical expertise to Advanced Level in PhotoShop / Indesign / MS Office / AutoCad is essential (Certified ideally)
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
