We seek a senior Health & Safety executive to be responsible for the overall leadership for Health, Safety, Environment and Wellbeing for the Middle East region.

A typical week would include:
* Working as part of the Middle East management team ensuring a safe environment for all our employees at all times.
* Engaging with our Clients, Contractors and Stakeholders to ensure our projects are delivered using best global practices around Health, Safety and Environment
* Promoting a positive, health, safety and wellbeing culture
* Managing and improve the HSE Management System in accordance with ISO 45001 and 14001 to maintain our accreditation and ensure compliance with all global and regional legislative requirements.
* Managing the HSE discipline, budget and ensure a consistent approach to HSE across the ME business
* Developing and deliver health, safety, environment and wellbeing strategies for the region
* Setting targets and objectives to ensure the ME business exceeds its health, safety, environment and wellbeing strategic aims and successfully delivers on its' policy
* Ensuring training needs are identified and addressed for our people to perform their roles safely, in accordance with our management system arrangements and risk profile
* Owning the crisis management process for the region and form part of the regional crisis management team, providing sound advice on matters relating to my discipline
* Participating in Global initiatives and reviews of the ME business
* Manage Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) risks for the region related to my discipline
* Engaging with other external stakeholders like regulators, industry bodies, professional bodies and suppliers as and when required.
Requirements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* At least 15 years' experience in the field of HSE within the construction sector, with at least 5 years in a senior HSE level role working closely with leadership teams
* At least 5 years' previous experience working in the Middle East - Essential
* Hold a BSc / MSc or equivalent health and safety qualification
* Hold an environmental qualification IEMA, NEBOSH Environmental Diploma or equivalent
* Have an internal / external auditing qualification, ISO 45001, 14001 or 9001
* Chartered Member of a professional body i.e. IOSH, IIRSM or SocEnv.
