Employment: Full Time

A regional legal firm is looking for a Head of HR & Admin to join their operations in Dubai.

This role is both operational and strategic. He/she will need to adapt and roll out the human resources processes and talent strategy in the ME region.

The person will need to represent the specialist functions but ultimately be responsible for guiding and coaching the all employees in the region. This position will support several offices in the regions.

- Be responsible for the successful implementation of strategy and guidelines for all human resources activities, policies and processes across multiple offices and locations within a region
- Provide Regional Directors and senior managers with thought leadership and organizational development input specific to the region during transformations, restructures and change initiatives. Manage the annual workforce planning for the region
- Manage strategic change efforts and communications across different locations
- Develop up-to-date data and analysis on staffing for the office/region; make recommendations/decisions on employee hiring, terminations and reassignments in consultation with others
- Ensure HR activities, records and forms are in compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

The Head of HR & Admin has extensive experience in working in a Human resources discipline in a global organization and be recognized as a subject matter expert in an HR discipline.

He/she will need a global perspective with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. For that reason they will need to be comfortable troubleshooting often with strict deadlines and without loss of attention to detail, and will need to be a masterful collaborator and organizer. The person will need to be comfortable making decisions with sometimes limited and/or conflicting information.

In addition to the above, we are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR. Preferably within the Professional services industry.
- Strategic orientation & Getting the right things done- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about HR processes and operations
- Expertise- Knowledge of best practices in HR and ability to recommend solutions
- Working well with others- Experience in an advisory role to local senior management
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (in English); proficiency in other languages will be a great advantage. Empathic, collaborative and appropriately persuasive.
