Head of Implementation Engineering

Job description / Role

- Builds, develops and manages Implementation Engineering capabilities including resource allocations, skills maintenance and ensuring training and certifications match business requirements
- Collaborates with partners, vendors, quality assurance, and account managers to provide technical direction on IT deployments
- Motivates and leads Implementation Engineers; attracts recruits and retains required personnel
- Ensures timely and effective delivery of solutions
- Reviews documented technical requirements to ensure adherence to defined standards
- Develop/package/present quantifiable value propositions
- Interacts with clients at the technical level, as required
- Ensures effective handoff to operations for on-going maintenance and management
- Manages and continuously improves standards, templates and the level of collateral reuse and contributes to the growth and use of the knowledge library

Requirements

- 15 years of experience with at least 8 years as an IT Senior Manager
- Good degree level qualification in a Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable experience of a high involvement with multiple successful IT technical deployments
