Head of IT & ERP

Job description / Role

Purpose:
• Develop and implement Information Technology policies, procedures and best practices, programs and schedules for business and finance data through processing & managing the Information Technology activities and provide relevant advice and expertise to all levels within the organization to ensure the company’s objectives.
• Manage ERP Implementation & Support for all lines of the company's business across UAE and KSA.

Duties:
• Ensure effective cascading of the departmental strategy into sectional business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.
• Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the IT section by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff to maximize sectional performance.
• Acquire, develop, and direct ERP Team to achieve department goals and objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end infrastructure and operations of the organization, entailing critical production systems, data management electronic communication management, network services, business continuity, procurement, IT strategy and governance compliance.
• Ensure protect all IT operations & ensure optimum mitigations of IT related risks and the reliability, confidentiality, availability and integrity of data.
• Develop and maintain formal procedures & SLAs for providing support to all IT users in order to ensure timely and efficient resolution of all IT and communication-related issues.
• Monitor and advise on project management for all application solutions and their implementation in order to ensure that the solution meets company vision and IT strategy.
• Hold regular meetings to review strategic goals and initiatives among IT team, building and work to provide growth paths for staff from technology perspective.
• Supervise the on-going operations of the IT operations and projects.
• Manage end-to-end implementation and support of new developments, enhancements, and upgrades by leading in-house and external support resources to meet required objectives

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or any other related courses
• 10-15 years’ working experience with at least 3-5 years on the same position.
• Strong background in ERP implementation (SAP/Oracle).
• Must be a good communicator with great decision-making skills.
