Position Title: Head of IT Infrastructure
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: up to 25,000 AED all inclusive depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Dubai, UAE
About the Client:
The hiring company is one of the well-known financial institutions in the UAE.
Job Role:
• Responsible for IT Infrastructure Implementation and Management
• Manages the development, design and implementation of servers, virtualization, operating systems, database systems, storage, backup and archiving systems and ensures 3rd level support for all IT infrastructure Services across WS
• Manages the development and implementation of technologies and solutions to provide infrastructure as a service, automated infrastructure services and Cloud services
• Ensures selection of standard-compliant software, desktops, network equipment’s, peripherals etc
• Manages the selection of new IT solutions as well as technology partners that could meet the anticipated telecommunications needs of consumers
• Ensures performance of IT/Technology vendors is within the stipulated SLAs and maintenance of cordial relations to manage deployments
• Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the WSE performance management process
Requirements
• 45 years and below
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Engineering/Computer Applications or any relevant field
• At least 8 years of work experience in the same role, preferably from finance institution
• Must have ITIL/MCSE/CCNA/CCNP certification
• Knowledgeable in the latest technology and risks
• Strong project management and people management skills
• Has experience in network management, server administration, end user management – desktop/mobility, storage and asset management, voice and telephony, and IT security
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem management skills
