Employment: Full Time

Rapidly growing food retail business requires Head of L&D / Head of Training to oversee this function across the GCC region.

Our client is an incredibly popular food retail brand with locations across the GCC that has exciting expansion plans in the pipeline. Due to these expansion plans and recent growth the business is looking to hire a Head of L&D / Head of Training to oversee its retail outlets across the GCC.

Having met with the HR Director and several senior members of the business recently we were impressed at the aspirations for the business and how the strategy clearly indicates that the one aspect that won't be compromised, through this growth, is quality of products and customer service. As such, we are looking for someone who holds high quality standards on both a personal and business level.

This role is a real mixture between strategy creation and operational deployment. This means that you will be equally able to formulate effective corporate L&D strategies, yet have the communication skills to transfer these from the board room onto the shop floor.

This is a new role in the business, so there are no direct reports as of yet, but this role will grow rapidly in line with the business growth and so we are looking for someone who will have the capability to manage a team in a short amount of time.

Requirements

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have retail experience within either food or non-food sectors but with several years' experience in a Learning and Development or training capacity at both the strategy and operational level.

This role is based in Dubai but will involve travel across the GCC. You will be compensated by working with top-class colleagues from all over the world, as well as a strong remuneration, bonus and benefits package.
