Job description / Role
Our client, a leading bank in Abu Dhabi is actively searching for a Head of Learning & Development to partner with the business.
The role:
• Identify learning needs in accordance with the organisation’s strategic and operational plans
• Assist in the development and effectively communicate a learning strategy for the organisation and provide an annual learning plan that supports this strategy
• Evaluate existing learning programs, make recommendations for change, and upon approval, implement these changes
• Manage course development and delivery projects in collaboration with internal employees and external providers
• Provide learning and development employee/s with guidance and contribute to the feedback of their performance
• Monitor regulatory requirements for staff training and competence and ensure that all requirements and subsequent changes are reflected in all statutory and mandatory training
• To record, collate and retain management information to demonstrate progress against KPIs and departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
The requirements:
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Should be able to communicate clearly with all levels within the business
• Proven experience as an L&D Manager
• Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
