Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with one of the largest Banking Groups in the region. Our client is looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel to join their Dubai head office acting as the Head of Litigation.
As part of the management team and reporting directly to the Group General Counsel, you will have 4 direct reports and have overall responsibility for a large business function. . You will have extensive Litigation and Dispute Resolution experience, have dealt with large and complex litigation cases and have also acted as Board Secretary. You will have extensive responsibility and the right candidate will be exposed to interesting and complex matters.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have at least 10 years PQE gained from either a highly ranked private practice law firm or another well-known and highly-regarded banking group. You will already be based in the UAE (or have extensive UAE experience).
This is an incredible opportunity for someone to join the management team of one of the best Financial Services organisations around. Fluency in Arabic is a prerequisite for the role and candidates without this will not be considered.
