Head of Operations - Robinsons - DFC, Dubai

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of Operations is responsible for effectively leading, driving and managing the Operational team to achieve maximum results and performance.

As the Head of Operations for Robinsons, you will be a coach and mentor to the Store Managers and be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of store operations in the GCC, establishing high levels of in-store standards; customer care & service and effectively managing all budgeted resources to secure agreed growth and profitability targets.

The Head of Operations role is an ambassador for the Robinsons brand; a key expectation of the role is relationship building with internal and external stakeholders, business networks and partners, the store teams and customers. As a leader within the business, the Head of Operations will co-ordinate the consistent implementation of agreed retail policies and procedures and ensure all dedicated store support functions operate effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

It is essential you have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar Operational or Area Manager role preferably within a Department Store. You will have a sound understanding of retail operational management across multiple and/or had previous experience in field based/multiple site experience with a proven track record in meeting targets and KPIs.

You must possess strong decision making skills, be good at networking and building relationships and have the ability to work with people at all levels in a multi-functional, deadline-driven environment. You will have excellent attention to detail, use a systematic approach to planning and prioritising activities and have a proven track record in achieving targets in a fast-moving, results-driven environment.

You must be proactive, self-motivated career focused and have excellent leadership and people management skills.
