Head of Professional Appliances (Laundry)

Job description / Role

Our client, a manufacturer of luxury appliances, is seeking a Head of Professional Appliances (Laundry)

Reports to MD.

Depending on experience, this could be a UAE and/or GCC role.

You must have experience in selling professional appliances to hotels, restaurants, etc to be suitable for this position.

Key responsibilities
- Responsible for the financial aspects of the business unit, such as budget, expenditures, and profit-loss projections
- Identify, develop, and evaluate sales, marketing and distribution strategy
- Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products
- Identify exhibitions and trade activities to participate in, and select products to be displayed
- Organize and implement initiatives to build brand awareness
- Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings
- Carry out regular communication with team members on performance and future objectives and goals in line with the brand's vision
- Supervise training and performance evaluations of direct staff and oversee their daily activities.
- Identify potential customers, key accounts, and potential dealers, and visit them to introduce / present the professional line
- Follow-up on professional contracts to monitor installation
- Prepare and conduct trainings when required
- Responsible for the review of all the sales contracts agreement

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing
- Sales and Marketing
- Computer literacy and familiarity with business modeling
- Management of personnel and material resources - Developing people and seeing appropriate usage of equipment
- Communication - Ability to interact positively with people conveying clearly ideas when talking to internal / external parties
- Negotiation - Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences
