Job description / Role
EMR is an emerging markets foremost provider of recruitment solutions specialised in most industrial segments and key functions. We are currently working with a prestigious and well-established retail brand in the Middle East Region that is looking for a Head of Retail Operations to be based in UAE.
The successful candidate will have full P&L responsibility and will have the lead on multiple domestic and international store openings planned for 2016 with a clear business plan and strategy.
The Head of Retail Operations will be accountable for:
- Maximising the sales and profitability of the business by providing effective leadership, support and expertise while being accountable for the commercial development of the business, through the implementation and maintenance of professional retail standards across the region
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s Degree an advantage
- 8+ years of retail operations experience in the GCC / Levant Region with hands on P&L exposure
- Experience in managing a sizeable operation
- Strong business acumen and strategic leadership skills
