Job description / Role
An opportunity to lead a reputed retail business across the Middle East & Levant with over 200 retail outlets and a team of 30+ direct reports.
Reporting to the Chief Exec, the Head of Retail Operations will be responsible for maximizing the Sales and Profitability of the Business by providing effective leadership, support and expertise while being accountable for the commercial development of the business, through the implementation and maintenance of professional retail standards across the region. Being a relatively large business of 200+ retail outlets, requires someone who has managed a sizable operation in the region with full accountability for sales & profitability, retail and operational standards, store design and project management, manpower and people management skills.
Requirements
- A Bachelors Degree with a Masters being an added advantage
- 10+ years of retail operations experience in the GCC/Levant region with hands on P&L exposure
- Should have managed a sizeable operation, taking into account that this role will oversee 200+ outlets
- Strong business acumen and strategic leadership skills is key
