Job description / Role

Salary: GBP 30,000 - 40,000 (Benefits include: Furnished Housing, Annual Flights, Medical Insurance)

A well-known highly respected school in the UAE requires a Head of the Secondary school.

Offering an IB System education to students aged 11-18yrs in modern state of the art school.

The Head of secondary will be;
- A strong leader with strategic skills, and a capacity to motivate and inspire both staff and pupils with leadership experience within a multi cultural environment.
- An effective manager with enthusiasm for building teams and developing excellent teachers.
- A collegiate and collaborative team-player capable, when necessary, of decisive management with an instinctive feel for the value of the strong relationship between the Head and Governors.
- A confident and impressive communicator who will command the interest and imagination of staff, pupils and parents.
- A strategic and intuitive thinker, an educationalist abreast of change with the capacity to inspire great learning and outcomes.
- A first class manager who clearly prioritizes and has excellent time- management, conversant with latest ICT A person of kindness and absolute integrity who will always put the needs of the pupils first.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree.
- Minimum 2 years classroom experience alongside Senior Management.
- Practical experience in teaching MYP, PYP or IB programmes in an international school.
- Trained by official IBO training provider.
- DBS check or police check.
- Excellent references.
- Hardworking attitude with passion and enthusiasm.
- Ability to work with Children whose first language is not English.
- Strong leaderships skills, Effective manager, Decision making, Strategic and intuitive thinker.
