Position Title: Head Pastry Chef
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: up to 10K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Dubai, UAE
About the Client:
An all day and high-end casual dining in the heart of Dubai serving their specialty of Mediterranean cuisine and premium shisha.
Job Description:
• Manage the pastry section of the kitchen and liaising with the executive and sous chefs to ensure a successful working environment on a daily basis
• Create signature pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe while checking team work results especially presentation, to ensure beauty and taste
• Develop new recipes for seasonal menus.
• Meet with customers to discuss details and planning of custom-made desserts and pastries for special occasions, such as weddings.
• Approve orders for new supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry section, when needed, and within budget.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Male, 40 years and below
• High school diploma or relevant
• At least 5 years of experience in the same role from mid to high-end casual dining restaurant
