Head - Pre Sales - Al Futtaim Technologies - Dubai, U.A.E.

As the Head of the Pre Sales division with Al Futtaim Technologies you will be responsible to achieve the most profitable operation and growth of the division through direct leadership of the Pre-Sales team for the region. In this role, you will develop and manage a highly professional team of Pre-Sales experts. Performance management, staffing, management proficiency, coaching, developing standards, financial planning and strategy, process improvement, decision making, strategic planning and quality management.

Take lead in developing response strategy, proposal development, review and feedback process, competitive positioning, pricing / commercial decisions. Develop strong working relationships across regions and functions (sales, services, operations, projects, etc.). Interact with principals to negotiate prices, discounts; technological problems in order to employ minimum capital and achieve maximum profits, maintain partner programs. Meeting or exceeding business objectives, through the effective management of budgeted resources.

You will provide leadership and vision to the business by assisting senior management and staff with development of business strategy and its execution. You will be responsible for all aspects of business operations includes overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure success of the Pre Sales division by maintaining financial budgets, ensuring adherence of policies and procedures, mentoring staff, and working with customers to ensure a high quality of service.

This role will be based in Dubai. You will have the Al Futtaim Technologies Pre Sales team comprising of Solutions Architects, Design Consultants and Solutions Engineers reporting to you & you will report into the General Manager - Al Futtaim Technologies.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting role, you should have a Bachelors Degree specialised in Telecommunication / IT/ Computer Science. MBA is an asset. You should have minimum 15+ years’ experience in conceiving, architecting and designing large scale integrated IT and Security Solutions across different industries and technology platforms, of which 8+ years as a Senior Manager or Head of Division role. Demonstrate a high level of experience especially in the technologies industry. Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an asset.

Along with previous extensive IT experience you must have an extensive industry background and comfortable with both the management and technical aspect of the position. Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and technical innovations and their impact on managing customer business requirements. Expert knowledge in Converged Network, Wireless, Security & Network Management. Expert Knowledge in Data Center Solutions, Storage Technologies, Virtualization and application. Industry standard certifications in Infrastructure domain.

Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and appropriately prioritize tasks, and keep abreast of the latest technology. Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture for enterprises. You will need to have excellent business acumen & be a strategic thinker.
