Job description / Role
Head / Senior Manager Credit Policy, Retails Assets (Mainly in Personal Finance & Mortgage Loans).
Reports to Head of Credit & Assets - Personal Banking
Find below details:
- Responsible and accountable for formulating the lending policy for all Personal Banking Asset products, to conceptualise and implement strategies to enable effective risk management of the Personal Banking Assets portfolio whilst facilitating business growth opportunities.
- Responsible for review of PPG’s for all asset products on a periodic basis and ensure that PPG’s are renewed before expiry dates.
- Responsible for review of interim changes in Credit Policy for all asset products, in line with changing market conditions in order to ensure prudent risk management and to maintain the quality of the asset portfolio.
- Responsible for having in place appropriate methodology to measure Portfolio risk using MIS analytical tools to measure lead / coincident / lag and vintage indicators; forecasting revenues and potential credit losses. Responsible for review of the PB Asset portfolio on a regular basis and taking proactive steps as required with an objective of maintaining an acceptable balance between risk & reward.
Requirements
Risk Management and Collections:
- Responsible and accountable to manage and drive the entire Risk control process: to suggest and implement appropriate information reports to assess risk profile of all Personal Banking Asset products and set up appropriate controls.
- Responsible for ensuring prudent listing, maintenance and periodic reviews of the Approved list of Companies for Loans & Cards, approved list of Developers for Mortgage Loans and Approved List of Car Dealers for Auto loans to effectively manage the associated risks in these areas.
- Responsible and accountable for ensuring 100% compliance with the Bank’s retail provisioning policy for all PB Asset products.
- Accountable for conducting detailed analysis of the PB Collections performance and effectiveness of incentive programs on a periodic basis
