Head - Strategic Planning

The strategy group maps out where we're going, what that means, and what it looks like. Our research team analyses the industry so that we're never playing catch-up. Design translates strategies into award winning products and experiences. In program management, it's more about the delivery of our strategies into realized benefits. And our corporate planning team creates strategy so that we're agile enough to respond in a fast-evolving industry.

What you'll deliver

- You will be responsible for performing extensive research on global aviation, business trends, macro-economic conditions and consumer behaviours, assessing findings against DA's strategy.
- You'll coordinate the operational planning process to translate the strategic plan into each unit's operating plans in preparation of the budgeting cycle.
- You'll ensure priorities are aligned to support delivery of corporate objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of portfolio activities to ensure maximum benefits.
- You'll identify and implement the corporate metrics that drive behavioral change across functions, ensure senior stakeholders buy in and monitor its effectiveness in supporting corporate objectives.

Requirements

What you bring

- You'll be educated to a Degree level in a discipline related to business administration or related field. A Master's in business administration will be an advantage.
- You should have at least 8 years' experience in relevant roles, of which 5 years will be in a senior management position in an industry involving strategic planning, portfolio management and investment evaluation.
- You'll have a proven track record in strategy formulation and monitoring techniques, planning, reporting, stakeholder management and communication practices.
