Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

IMMEDIATE STARTERS ONLY

Looking for an immediate starter for a HSE officer who has previous experience in construction –
Responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions.
- Takes samples and measurements of hazardous materials, and coordinates the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards.
- Trains employees on safety policies, procedures and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.
- Check HSE requirements in method statements, risk assessments and permit to work procedures submitted by the Contractor.
- Check that all agreed HSE standards and applicable HSE regulations are observed.
- Check appropriate maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment.
- Check site security, fire, first aid and welfare facilities and procedures appropriate to the works are provided and adequately maintained.
- Assist in the Investigation of all accidents and dangerous occurrences and report in accordance with the Client requirements and Company's procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Works under general supervision.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Requirements

- Candidates must be immediate starters living in the UAE.
- Must be qualified in NEBOSH and have previous experience in scaffolding.
- Candidates must have a UAE driving license.
- Qualified HSE officers only.
- Responsible, and works well within a team.
- Knowledge on all safety policies and procedures in the UAE.
