Health FM Subject Matter Expert

Purpose: To manage and lead the development of the specific strands of activity within the Health Soft and Hard FM services strategy to drive innovation and develop an integrated offering to clients in the healthcare FM arena. To work on specific opportunities, as directed by the Client Director, Health and to provide excellent service to the customer, strong financial returns, service improvements and business growth.

Core Job Outcomes
* Strategy and Plans: Accountable for the development of specific FM service expertise, as part of the wider portfolio of services provided to clients in the facilities management sector. To work with Client Directors and Contract Directors to deliver value for clients though improved management of contracts to help drive service excellence and customer advocacy.
* Growth and Financials :To provide specific support to bids and rebids for specific services (e.g. Housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure an innovative, competitively priced FM services solution that will delight the client.
* To partner with the Sales & Marketing Director, Cleint Directors and Bid Managers, as appropriate, to ensure customer requirements are understood in order to effectively plan and cost bidding, transition and delivery of contracts
* To codify our approach to bidding to provide replicable approaches to soft and hard services
* Customers and Markets:To support the development of industry wide market knowledge of specific FM services to ensure Serco remains at the forefront of innovation, thereby helping to drive growth.
* To price specific FM services, externally benchmarked and regularly updated.
* To develop and manage a network of internal relationships to ensure customer requirements are anticipated and met.

Job Dimensions
* Management of an operational team in a matrix environment
* Expertise in specific soft and hard FM services capabilities (e.g. cleaning, catering, security, car parking, maintenance) a requirement. Preferably within a Healthcare environment
* Responsible to Client Director, Health.

Requirements

* Typically graduate calibre, ideally with a post-graduate qualification.
* Excellent financial, commercial, business development and people acumen to support the development of innovative solutions and pricing of services..
* Evidence of understanding and ability to lead matrix, FM services, team essential.
* Excellent customer presentational ability, both verbal and written.
* Excellent people leadership skills, with evidence of the ability to engage and motivate people at all levels.
* Strong customer service ethos.

Experience in Healthcare/FM - preferably in the Middle East
