Job description / Role
Job Summary:
- To drive usage of HE curriculum solution technology products across the Middle East (including Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, U.A.E., Qatar, Bahrain, Yemen, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey) by providing pre and post-sales support for faculty and students through a mix of in-person and remote activities.
- To support the ME sales team in driving technology sales by leveraging and integrating technologies in all stages of the adoption process and improving sales skills and knowledge.
- To liaise with the ME sales team to target key technology adoptions and assist in closing the business through developing, implementing, and maintaining a high level of service for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- To achieve yearly targets of course activations and technology renewals on the suite of Company products.
- To devise and implement Customer Care plans for ME customers of different sizes, working across all electronic product lines and employing a mix of tools, including personal visits, telephone calls, WebEx/Video Conferencing sessions, Video Tutorials, Technology guides etc.
- To manage T&E budget effectively so as to provide the right level of support to the right level customers across the region.
- To provide pre-sales support by working with sales staff to deliver product presentations which match customer needs.
- To work with UK team and US Helpdesk in responding to technical enquiries from customers.
- To cultivate and maintain extensive product knowledge of a large and growing product list.
- When required make presentations at workshops and events to promote and extend our technology brand.

Requirements
- Educated to graduate level or minimum of three years’ relevant work experience.
- Experience working within the education sector or educational publishing industry.
- LMS experience
- Sales and/or training experience, ideally gained within the education or educational publishing industry and on digital products.
- Proficient in the use of technologies such as Adobe Captivate, WebEx/Video Conferencing, MS Office skills, Blackboard/Moodle
- The capacity to absorb product information, and to maintain and develop extensive product knowledge.
- Strong organisational skills.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into a format that is understood by the customer.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships between key stakeholders within large academic institutions and to communicate with all levels of personnel both internally and externally.
- Enthusiasm with a self-motivated, dynamic attitude.
- Problem solving.
- The ability manage time and prioritise workload on an ongoing basis.
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to travel is essential as this role will require travel throughout the territory, and some travel outside the territory for conferences. Travel may also on occasion take place over weekends.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic
- Must be able to travel independently within KSA.
