Hotel General Manager

Job description / Role

Quest Search & Selection is working with a well-known luxury Hotel Group in the UAE. They are currently looking to hire a really unique General Hotel Manager to be part of their team based in Dubai. You will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Responsibilities of a Hotel General Manager:
• Manage all aspects of the hotel environment;
• Responsible for OS&E, FF&E and facilities enhancement and rectification plans;
• Oversee all operational departments and back office functions;
• Demonstrate the highest level of personalized service to guests;
• Closely monitor the hotel business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly;
• Be accountable for responsibilities of department heads;
• Responsible for safeguarding the quality of operations (both internal and external audits)
• Extremely high attention to detail;
• Responsible for all aspects of owner’s and developer’s relationship;
• Ensure service standards and operational procedures are implemented

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Hotel Management or equivalent;
• At least 15 years in the hospitality industry, 5 to 10 years of experience as a General Manager or an EAM, or senior Director;
• Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines;
• Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving;
• Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail

This is an exciting opportunity with a competitive salary package of AED 45,000 – AED 50,000 with Expat Benefits.
