Employment: Full Time

A well respected FMCG giant is hiring an HR & Admin Manager to manage resources and translate objectives, goals and decisions to provide effective HR procedures, policies and processes supporting the business needs. You will be reporting directly to the General Manager

Development of the JV Human Resources strategy and the formulation of the JV policies and procedures; ensure implementation and compliance in all locations. Ability to effectively and effi-ciently plan, organizes, coordinate and direct all administrative and HR activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Major results, outcomes and/or functions of the job
- Lead, coach and develop the HR/Admin team to achieve maximum performance and the HR ability to meet current and future business targets and challenges
- Develop and lead the implementation of HR plans for UAE/Oman.
- Translate objectives, goals & decisions to support effective working procedures. Participate in the development & implementation of HR procedures, policies & processes. Make sure they are compatible with UAE Labor Law.
- Plan, supervise and evaluate activities of the HR and Admin staff inclusive of goals and objectives for the same.
- To establish and maintain an effective and constructive working relationship with NFPC while protecting the interest of the company. Liaison with NFPC on HR & Admin issues.
- Provide professional support to business units on HR issues
- Assisting in the cost budget making for UAE & Oman.
- Compensation & benefits: ensure compliance with list of positions, grades, pay ranges. Re-view salary structure and prepare suggestions for management. Use Mercer/HAY for the market salary review.
- Performance appraisals – all preparations, the process and evaluation afterwards for UAE and Oman.
- Update organisation charts for UAE & Oman with IPE scores, seniority etc.
- Drive annual HR processes including annual Barometer survey
- Build and develop competencies to support business growth
- Live and promote our character in the whole organisation

Requirements

- Key experience necessary to perform the job effectively
- Candidate must have 3-5 years experience within HR, preferably from a major international company in the GCC.
- 2-3 years Management experience.
- Strong management skills
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices compatible with the regional culture
- Candidate is required to demonstrate and deliver performance up to standard and show self-driven strife towards exceeding targets at all levels
- Candidate must be a strong communicator and taking personal interest in the development and enabling of the HR organisation.
- Minimum a bachelor degree in HR, psychology or similar
- Fluent English, spoken and written is a must

Candidate must have the business professional skills required to perform and meet the pur-pose of the position.
