Synopsis

As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Revenue and Commercial Operations, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our strategic objectives with employee and management needs. This position requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, HR expertise, and a deep understanding of the airline industry's revenue and commercial functions. The ideal candidate will have a consulting type background, providing tailored advice and solutions to drive organizational performance through effective human resources management.

Accountabilities

- Partner with revenue and commercial leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that are aligned with business goals, focusing on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Act as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent.
- Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Offer leadership coaching and provide resources to managers and leaders regarding team dynamics, performance management, and growth strategies.
- Implement and administer HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to support initiatives such as diversity and inclusion, training and development, succession planning, and compensation strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, labor market developments, and best practices in HR management.

Requirements

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, with at least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the airline or related industry.
- Strong background in HR consulting, with a track record of providing effective HR solutions to business challenges.
- Excellent understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
- Good knowledge of UAE employment/labor laws and practices.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels within the organization.
- Analytical and goal-oriented, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong empathy and the capacity to respond to employee needs with compassion and efficiency.
