Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

HR Generalist for a multinational commodities company - To coordinate the daily HR and Admin related jobs including recruitment, employee relations, performance management and administrative duties. Looking for strong HR experience.

Responsibilities:
- Work with line managers to prepare job descriptions.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies for the new vacancies.
- Ensure all recruitment that may require a visa is conducted according to the company guidelines and JAFZA rules, and prepare paperwork in support of visa applications.
- Liaise with relevant staff to ensure arrangements are in place for the arrival and induction of new staff
- Maintains an employee and recruitment database.
- Act as a first point of contact for staff and managers on a wide range of personnel issues, providing guidance, and interpreting policies and procedures.
- Manage leave and sickness absence records and advise staff on entitlements.
- Oversee probationary periods, liaising with line managers and sending reminders.
- Manage contracts, including extending employment contracts.
- Process payroll each month.
- Manage the Mid-Year and Year-End Review scheme to support strong performance and staff development.
- Contribute to the development of learning and development opportunities.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in HR policies and procedures, and changes with the company and ensure compliance.
- Communicate HR policies to staff in a timely and effective manner.
- Contribute to the development, improvement and implementation of departmental HR procedures.
- Gather, manipulate and present HR data for senior managers to use.
- Carry out other ad hoc projects in order to ensure effective working and to provide and first class HR service to the department.
- Providing cover if required for other support staff over lunch breaks and other absences.
- Prepare reports on a monthly basis or as required.

Requirements

- Male candidate required
- Must be Arabic speaker
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or any related field
- Knowledge of freezone regulations preferred
- At least 5 years HR experience
- Candidates with HR coordinator/ HR generalist experience and skills preferred (Not PRO, Not admin)
- Available to join with 1 months notice maximum
