Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The HR Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within our client's retail organization. This key leadership role will involve developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives to support the company's overall objectives, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and promoting a positive work culture.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
* Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for all levels of staff, ensuring timely and effective hiring to meet operational needs.
* Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
* Develop and implement performance management systems to drive employee productivity and engagement.
* Lead the development and implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
* Manage compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
* Oversee HR administrative functions, including payroll, HRIS management, and record-keeping.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
* Proven experience as an HR Director or similar leadership role in a retail environment.
* Experience managing a workforce of 1000+ employees.
* In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
