Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Working to support the HR and Administration team, HR Generalist will be responsible for ensuring that administration is dealt with in an efficient, correct and timely manner.

Main responsibilities will be the training & development, maintaining personnel records and files and resolving HR related issues.

The HR Generalist will be in charge of relations with the staff with regards to Training & Development and other tasks as outlined below:

HR Related
- Responsible for developing, maintaining implementing a training plan for CS Dubai in collaboration with Training Partners and CMA CGM Academy
- Manage training feedback from Training Partners and external service providers to maintain proficiency levels / skills-matrix
- Manage the local training coordination and administration for brownfield as well as SAPHIR training
- Coordination and administration of training and travel arrangements as per CS Dubai Training plans
- To operate and administer HR tools e.g. (evaluation, talent & recruitment) to keep employees data updated at all times
- Career management / evolution in collaboration with Head Office.
- Effectively manage Training process within budgetary limits.
- Maintain Career Development plan for CS Dubai staff and manage internal motilities
- Assist HR Team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Provide reports and feedback to Directors and General Manager on regular basis

Other
- Manage all letters to staff
- Provide Assistance to General Management as and when required
- Coordinate with Administration team for on boarding and off boarding of employees.
- Provide support for Government Services Operations (eg. Visa applications, letters....)
- Support Finance/Procurement in vendor management activities and Purchase requests

Requirements

This role requires an extremely articulate, credible and ethical individual who has ideally worked in a professional services environment.

In addition you must have:
- Degree in Human Resources Management and/or in labor and social law
- Experience within a similar position, in international and a multicultural environment and a good track record
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise, negotiate, and reach constructive agreement. All communication (oral and written) must be of a high standard in terms of clarity and grammar
- Team Player that communicates openly, directly and diplomatically with staff yet maintains confidentiality at all times
- Good knowledge and experience of work practices in the UAE
- Fluency in English (oral and written), French preferred. Arabic would be an advantage.
