Currie & Brown is currently looking for a UAE national human resources /PRO assistant, for our Abu Dhabi office who meets the following requirements:

The successful candidate will support the business globally in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes, capturing and sharing knowledge across the global business, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

- Assist our employees in Abu Dhabi and the Dubai based People Team with the following:
- Coordinating with the Government Relations Officer (GRO) to process new employment visa, renew, and cancel visas.
- Keeping up with UAE labour laws and communicating any changes to the People team.
- Act as the company PRO when required, and coordinate with Regional HR department and employees to prepare visa paperwork. To submit and process visa applications with immigration / labour offices for the following visa types; business visas, work visas, residence visas, renewals, family visas, foreign visas required for other business travel, visit visas etc.
- Schedule, communicate and accompany staff to medical appointments for visa processing & arrange finger printing
- Enrolling new staff & and their families into our medical insurance group plan
- Assist employees in sponsoring and renewing visas for family members accompany staff to immigration
- To ensure visa quota remains valid and renew quota requirements in co-ordination with the Regional HR department
- Assisting employees in attesting their qualification and other certificates at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)
- Assist employee’s with obtaining the local driving licenses
- Assist employee’s in obtaining E-Gate cards
- Preparing all letters (bank, immigration NOC etc), making sure they are approved by MENA people team before they are issued.
- Assist the onboarding team by liaising with the MENA recruitment team making sure all arrangements are in place for new starters (including laptops and IT, accommodation, and transport).
- Answering queries and being a friendly HR contact in Abu Dhabi. Being a point of contact when assistance is required by Abu Dhabi staff.
- To collect and deliver all documents related visa matters between Abu Dhabi and Dubai office, as and when requested, to ensure efficiency and speed of service in all PRO related matters
- Assist with any administrative tasks in Abu Dhabi
- To be available ‘out of hours’ to assist with emergency situations
- Assist in other company errands when required and instructed

Requirements

Requirements
- Degree qualified
- UAE national
- Must be in Abu Dhabi
- A minimum of 5 years working in the HR field and sound knowledge of UAE labour law and laws surrounding immigration
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good spoken and written English
