Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Manage and report the HR activities in the Middle East region
- Introduce and grow Parent company's philosophy of People Centered Management in an appropriate way
- Monitor the day to day HR activities for all UAE offices
- Prepare various HR reports and analyses
- Manage the recruitment process as per company policy and limits of authority while choosing the best tools and consultancy networks to get the right people for the job descriptions
- Oversee the salary and grading matrix of the company and conduct regular benchmarking for positions whenever required in line with Global standards
- Update the benefits and compensation policies
- Coordinate and liaise with line managers on headcount budgets, job descriptions, promotions and employee development plans
- Ensure performance management and development processes are in place to ensure an appropriate talent pipeline (e.g. performance appraisal process, succession planning, attrition map)
- Provide support to all staff in satellite offices
- Support all Public Relations Officers & all related Government, Immigration & Labor Department matters related to the company while ensuring all updates are received on UAE Laws and regulations
- Handle all corporate HR reports and analysis requirements on a monthly / quarterly basis in addition to any ad-hoc reports or analyses
- Utilize AMANAT HRMS system as main HR data center
- Understand and support, through the team, the access to the Abu Dhabi O&G sector for training, entry permits and other requirements.
- Support the Admin Manager in hotel bookings, ticket bookings and event arrangements
- Make the necessary arrangements in relation to the facility and property handling of the company's UAE offices, factory and warehouses

Requirements

- University degree in Management / HR (Psychology preferable)
- 5 to 7 years HR experience (preferably in a multinational with regional presence in UAE)
- Confidence in handling basic and complex HR tasks
- Ability to work under pressure while communicating independently with peers both inside and outside the HR function
- Complete knowledge of the UAE Labor Law (KSA desirable too)
- Advanced computing skills in word processing and presentation tools
- Working experience of HR ERP system(s)
- Fluent in English
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Strong personality
- People management skills
