Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The HR Manager will lead the People function in the Dubai office in line with the Middle East Region HR strategy and is responsible for delivering a first class HR service for up to 1,400 employees in this busy, fast growing office.

Reporting to the UAE Senior Manager and leading a team of 4 HR professionals, you will:
- Manage HR operations ensuring that people-related data is secured, updated and managed properly to generate various types of reports.
- Identify ways to improve and enhance the quality of current HR services and operations, and drive forward changes to deliver improvements.
- Lead performance management and appraisal process.
- Facilitate the salary review, annual bonus and promotions exercise at the end of each performance management cycle in conjunction with the key stakeholders.
- Lead the implementation of Middle East HR programs/projects and report work in progress to the leadership teams.
- Work closely with the regional Recruitment Team.
- Work closely with the regional Learning & Development Director to facilitate the implementation of L&D programs/projects.
- Keep up to date with local regulations and employment law changes.
- Work closely with Line of Service leaders and address and advise/ partner on any employee relations issues that arise.
- Internal stakeholders include the partners, directors and staff across the 4 lines of service in (Assurance, Deals, Consulting and Tax) as well as the general UAE and regional staff population when working on projects across the wider Middle East network.

Requirements

You will be a dynamic, solutions driven, people oriented creative thinker that is keen to make difference. You will have a culturally diverse background having worked within a multi-national, cross border environment, preferable within a matrix structure that means you are comfortable with ambiguity and change.

In addition you will:
- Have extensive experience and knowledge of HR practices and processes (benefits, compensation, payroll, recruiting, training, administration, time and attendance).
- Possess excellent problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Have between 5 - 7 years of experience in HR.
- Be fluent in both, spoken and written English.
- Arabic language is a must
- Have previous experience and knowledge of working within the Middle East - you will preferably already be working within the region
- Have a bachelors degree and preferably possess an internationally recognised HR qualification
