This is an exciting opportunity to join an instantly recognised, much loved and trusted multinational retail firm here in Dubai. Our client is seeking an HR Manager to join their well-established team. They offer a fun and exciting workplace environment and are seeking a candidate with GCC experience.

This role will involve providing complete Human Resources support for all departments in the company. This includes recruitment, people development, appraisals, general HR administration, developing HR policy and procedures and general company policy and procedures, payroll, staff onboarding, inductions and exits. You will manage the development, training and coaching of all staff with the support of the Department manager as well as managing the headcount and work within the HR budgets as agreed at the start of the calendar year.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be fluent in English, both written and spoken and have excellent multi-tasking and organisational abilities, and be action oriented. Experience in managing a payroll that is part manual part automated is essential, as is experience in delivering basic staff training relating to floor leadership, sales, customer service, time management and people management. Confidence in delivering company inductions and conducting group interviews and strong Microsoft Excel skills for budgeting, good PowerPoint and excellent Word and general MS Office abilities.

Ideally you will have worked in a retail environment and understand the retail HR issues, you will be able to manage a project until completion and be able to work either autonomously or as part of a team. You must know the local labor law and be familiar with the labor law in Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.
