Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

MISSION: Partner with the General Manager to provide coaching, support and influence that enables key clients to effectively deliver their people plans. Provide a consultancy service that delivers best practice and results focused HR solutions that support the business area in alignment with HRBP at Chalhoub and Regional HR VP at Coty and coordinating with Chalhoub and Coty HR services when needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ORGANIZATION:
- Work with the GM and VP HR to define the right organization design and adapt the structure to the business needs.
- Participate in the budget build up (costing, job descriptions)
- Participate in ad hoc projects related to efficiency programs and ROI

Recruitment and induction:
- Define the right sourcing strategy working with internal partner to source best talents (partners, social media, campus activities)
- Work with managers to formalize their need based on the organization requirements and turn it into proper job description
- Manage the recruitment process (except for sales field employees) up to build up and offer presentation
- Coordinate mobility in case of internal transfers
- Induct new employees into the company

Performance management :
- Manage the performance management process: communicate calendar, train managers and employees, guide them into the process. Manage the setup of individual goals to ensure alignment and focus on key priorities for the business
- Run the succession planning with the management team to identify pool of talents and plan for individual plans along with organization plans, including potential mobility.
- Define adapted training activities and ensure budget is secured.

Compensation:
- Communicate and train on fundamentals of compensation strategy and ensure employees understand where they stand in the organization
- Build compensation analysis and annual salary budget plan using company guidelines
- Manage the salary review process in alignment with performance assessment (guide and challenge managers in their recommendations, consolidate the information and ensure result is aligned with approved budget)

Employee engagement:
- Ensure employees participate in regular internal employee survey
- Develop a work environment fostering collaboration and best practice sharing
- Engage employees in ad hoc events, meetings, local initiatives to gather feedback and ideas

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION:
- Ensure employees are exposed and have access to all existing communication tools
- Instill Company culture via delivery of specific training modules or meetings
- Develop local communication events/tools
- Collaborate closely and ensure a smooth communication with the HR Chalhoub organization, in particular the Senior HRBP to foster best practices sharing and alignment on key HR activities and processes.

Requirements

- Master of Business Administration preferred
- Minimum 7 years experience in a HR function
- FMCG / Cosmetics / F&B / Luxury Industry experience
- Must have worked with MNCs Internationally, GCC experience is a plus
