Employment: Full Time

The Human Resources Manager reports to the Chief Operations Officer of Corporate Support Services, and has two direct reports in HR, together supporting 85 employees, approximately 30% of whom are Emirati nationals.

The HR Manager's main areas of responsibility include employee relations, performance management & appraisals, employee engagement, succession planning & Emiratisation. HR Operations (for example payroll and visa processing) is outsourced but the HR Manager is required to oversee this activity and highlight areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate must be a strong HR generalist, with five to seven years HR experience including at least two in a management role. You will be an Emirati national with excellent communication skills (including English). Industry sector experience is not essential although an advantage.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be a UAE National with 5 to 7 years HR experience as a minimum including 2 at a managerial level. You must have excellent Arabic and English communication ability and a strong working knowledge of the UAE employment law including its' practical application. You will be able to demonstrate tangible achievements in employee relations, performance management, appraisal process, employee engagement and Emiratisation retention.

Working hours are 7.30 am to 4.30 pm. A competitive salary is offered plus performance related annual bonus which can be equivalent to two month's salary. Other benefits include medical coverage, air tickets, education allowance & insurance.
