Employment: Full Time

The Human Resources Officer is responsible for the recruitment, hiring and retention of company employees and staff.

The Human Resources Officer is also responsible for the managing and operation of the personnel department of the organization, and may assist employees in managing salaries and benefits.

The Human Resources Officer plays a large role in the hiring of new staff including posting advertisements for open positions, screening resumes and applications, creating and updating job descriptions, setting interview appointments, and conducting individual candidate interviews.

The Human Resources Officer is the main point of contact for employees who are in need of services that help them work more efficiently in their positions. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting performance evaluations, planning employee training courses, offering job appraisals and training or retraining employees.

The Human Resources Officer also provides employees and potential employees with information about company offerings such as health benefits, paid and unpaid leave, vacation time and other company benefits. The human resources Officer may also direct assistants who serve the administrative functions that accompany the human resources function. These may include processing travel and expense reports, tracking employee time, following up with vendors, keeping logs of incoming resumes, appointment setting, conducting pre-screenings and background checks and filling out employee benefit paperwork.

Human Resources Officer must be well versed in the UAE labour requirements that the company must meet. They must ensure that the company operates within these guidelines and take care to protect the rights of the employer and company’s employees.

Good communication skills in all spheres are required.

Perform coordinated team work with the marketing, retail and operations department to ensure flow of work meets the needs of others.

Supporting morale through perceiving the organization is the employer of choice.

Scheduling prioritizes optimal use of working hours.

Requirements

- Certificate relevant and/or applicable to Human Resources.
- A minimum of 3 years of total work experience. Preferably in High End Fashion organizations.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Ability to work independently on strategic issues, capable of managing fairly complex projects.
- Ability to work with a large number of projects.
- Bright, imaginative, and a system director with strong communication skills specifically seeking a smaller environment.
- Basic Knowledge of business structure and functionality.
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Has demonstrated successful design and integration of policies and procedures, and the delivery of projects on time and within the given budget.
- Solid understanding of deliverables, and the ability to take responsibility for them.
- Strong conceptual skills, including online software concepts and online experience concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines is essential for a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical knowledge of how web-based recruitment tools apply.

Competencies
- English speaking is absolutely necessary.
- Preferably Arabic Speaking.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the Fashion Industry or Retail industry.
- A Clear understanding of the inner workings of the Fashion Retail industry.
